Make a planning submission
A planning submission is your chance to have a say on the proposed gas-fired power plant at Drybridge. Tell us who you are and which points you want to make, and we will build a personalised letter you can download, sign and send to the planning authority.
How to make a submission
Anyone can make an observation on a planning application. It does not need to be legal or technical, it just needs to be in your own words and in on time.
Check the deadline
A planning submission must be with the planning authority before the closing date. Check the date on this page and on the authority's website.
Build your letter
Use the builder below to pick the points you agree with, add anything personal, and generate a letter in your own name.
Submit it
Send the letter online, by email or in writing, quoting the planning application reference. Each person should submit separately.
Keep your record
Save your letter and any acknowledgement you receive. Submissions made before the deadline form part of the file for the decision.
Your details
These go at the top of your letter, so the submission is in your own name.
Choose your points
Pick the arguments that matter most to you. The more you choose, the stronger your submission.
Planning Policy
Water & Drainage
Climate & Air
Health & Safety
Traffic & Roads
Heritage & Landscape
Ecology & Wildlife
Noise & Amenity
Anything personal or local that matters to you. Leave a blank line between separate points.
Your personalised letter appears here once you build it.
Suggest a submission point
Have a strong argument that other people should be able to use? Add it here, no account needed. Suggestions are reviewed by the campaign team before they appear in the builder for everyone.
